Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 August 2026.
The short version. LumaKeys does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. The files you open stay on your Mac.
What we collect
Nothing. LumaKeys has no account system, no telemetry and no third-party analytics or advertising software. We do not know who you are or that you are using the app.
Your files
MIDI files you open, patterns you write in MIDI Maker, and videos you export are read, created and stored on your own Mac. They are not uploaded anywhere. Items shown in the Catalog are stored locally by the app and are removed when you delete them or remove the app.
Audio and video
LumaKeys generates piano audio from sound samples included in the app. It does not access your microphone or camera, and it does not record anything other than the video you explicitly ask it to export.
Children
LumaKeys is suitable for all ages and, because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collects data, we will say so here clearly and in the App Store privacy labels before that version ships.
