Help
Practice data
- Use the log screen to save the piece, instrument, minutes, difficulty, rating, focus status, and notes for a session.
- Use history and search tools to revisit previous entries.
- Use PDF export or JSON backup before resetting the app or clearing app storage.
Metronome
- Set the BPM before starting tempo practice.
- If you do not hear the beat, check device volume, silent mode, and audio output.
- Try restarting the app if audio was interrupted by another app.
Microphone
- Microphone access is only needed for optional audio-based practice features.
- If microphone features do not work, open iOS Settings and confirm that Virtuoso has microphone permission.
- You can still use logging, plans, metronome, goals, charts, and history without microphone access.
Goals and history
- Set a daily practice goal to make progress easier to review.
- Check streaks, totals, charts, and achievements after logging sessions.
- Use practice plans to decide what to work on before you begin.

Overview
Virtuoso is a music practice tracker. It is designed to help you record practice sessions, use a metronome, manage practice plans, review progress, and optionally use microphone-based listening features.
Practice data
Practice entries may include piece names, instrument, date, minutes practiced, difficulty, notes, rating, focus status, and related progress information. This data is stored locally on your device or app storage unless you choose to export it.
Microphone
Virtuoso may request microphone access for optional listening or audio feedback features. Microphone access starts only when you choose to use a related feature. Audio is used for in-app functionality and is not sold.
Exports and backups
Virtuoso includes export and import tools such as PDF reports and JSON backups. Files you export or import are controlled by you.
Third parties
Virtuoso does not sell personal data. The app may rely on standard device and web technologies to run app features.
